Dr Karl Harrison is IT Co-ordinator and Training Officer in the Department of Chemistry,at University of Oxford. Dr Harrison teaches to the department a wide range of online courses ranging from introductory IT skills to programming. These courses are used as foundation to the teaching of all asecpts of chemistry using online educational packages. Dr Harrison's research group is highly active in the production of multimedia rich environments to enhance the learning of chemistry, and have won several awards for the creation of the online "Oxford Virtual Chemistry Laboratory."
